In October 2006 twelve artists of eight different cultures
met at the First International Sculptor Symposium
in Hamburg, Germany.

Everybody had to work on a log of oak tree of about 8 meters
within the time of ten days. The topic was "Don Quijote".

The sculptures were sold at auction,
the returns were donated to the church St. Michel
and to the organization "SOS Kinderdorf".
